Macallan Rare Cask 2021 Release

The Macallan Rare Cask is matured in the finest and rarest sherry seasoned oak casks, hand-selected by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team using their knowledge and experience to craft a special single malt. These casks add a complexity that truly showcases the quality of the oak paired with the legendary classic flavour profile of The Macallan spirit.

Soft aromas of vanilla with rich raisin lead on the nose, followed by a burst of fresh apple, lemon and orange. Sweet raisin notes fill the palate, before giving way to vanilla and dark chocolate, and layers of citrus zest. The finish is long, rich and velvety. This 2021 release is bottled at 43% abv.
