An impressive The Whisky Shop exclusive, this expression was distilled at Craigellachie Distillery and released as a part of Hunter Laing & Co’s Old Malt Cask collection. This Speyside single malt has been aged for 14 years in a sherry butt, and decanted into only 641 bottles. Bottled at 50% abv, this superb whisky is free from chill filtration and is at natural colour.
Expect aromas of fresh flowers, chocolate and apples, leading to a palate full of herbal notes, caramel and red berries. The finish is long, with a hint of spice.
