This 21 Year Old bottling from ‘The Spirit of Dublin’, Teeling Whiskey, was firstly aged in bourbon barrels, before completing a four-year finish in hand-selected Carcavelos casks. The limited edition single malt is one of only 6,000 bottles globally. Bottled at 46% abv, and free from chill filtration.
Expect a nose full of citrus notes, balanced by spice and wood influences, leading to a rich palate with flavours of orchard fruits, toffee, oak and baking spices. The finish is long, with more woody notes and a hint of dark chocolate.
